The day didn’t quite go to plan…
It started pouring down with heavy rain while I was out enjoying a nice Sunday out in London.
What happened next? I got my umbrella out and started filming one of my most spontaneous yet real lookbooks as everything I was wearing perfectly matched the theme and style of my already brainstormed-through style post.
So, yes – you can still have plenty of fun when it’s raining! Following from this random turnaround, I have put together a list of ideas for things to do in London when it’s raining. Thank me later 😉
1. COFFEE SHOP.
As cheesy as it sounds, why not finally catch up over coffee with those who you haven’t seen for ages? Or spend some one-on-one with your laptop / diary, organising your week ahead.
2. GET YOUR CAMERA OUT.
As ungrateful as we are for it, rain is so beautiful. Why not photograph in the rain? From grey clouds and mysterious architecture to whatever else you want it to be!
3. BROWSE THE BOOKS.
Take a trip down your local library and browse some really cool, inspiring literature.
4. DISCOVER ART.
London is such a cultural and arty place – there is plenty to discover. National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and Somerset House, just to name a few places to check out. Beyond this, there are always seasonal exhibitions going on and they are pretty awesome (as well as free).
5. VISIT A COVERED MARKET
Traditional or not, there are so many on the map of London!
6. PUB (OR AN AFTERNOON TEA)
